Please note:  Our Stories and Links pages contain links to some sites and some stories
which may include, or link to, things that may be considered by some to be "adult
content."   We believe that the content we link to has far greater potential for benefit
than for detriment.  Teens know how to search for porn all around the Internet. Aiding
that quest is not our purpose.

"One Life" and "Kayden" are great stories by Ryan Keith, a Canadian
university student. "One Life", "Kayden", "Kayden II" and "Kayden and Zac"
are complete, as well as a side story to the "Kayden" series, "Phil's Story -
Stars and Dreams", and now
five chapters of "Zac and Kayden" are up.
Click here to read Ryan's stories, and check back soon for more.
"Through Different Eyes" by Drake Hunter is a very special story involving
a 14-year-old boy, but it's definitely not just for teens. It's an excellent
adventure for everyone to enjoy.
"A Yule Tale" by Drake Hunter is still available, because it's a great read
any time of the year.  A reader of the story wrote to us: "I have rarely seen
such great craftsmanship from any author."
"Did He Really Say That?" is our crewmember Aaron's first story.  We think
it's cool and we're proud of him.  Check it out and tell him what you think.
NEW BROTHER is an excellent novel by Graeme of Australia. It's told from
the viewpoint of  David, a straight teen who learns that Adam, a friend and
team mate, is gay and has been kicked out of his home because of that.
Over David's objections, his parents insist that Adam live with their family,
and a powerful storyline develops from that situation. Highly recommended!
"Daddy's Princess (Pink and Blue)" is a wonderful poem by 16-year-old Canadian Kristina
Atkinson.  She was inspired to write it when she saw a much younger girl who reminded her of
herself at that younger age.
"Gay Prom '06" by gay teen activist and author Gabriel Duncan takes us into a prom the likes of
which most of us will never see. In a few very populous areas there are annual proms for GLBT
teens and their supportive friends, organized by non-school-sponsored groups. These events
are intended to be substance free, but that's basically impossible. We strongly recommend that
 you
read Gabe's contribution to our Authors Speak to Teens feature and follow his advice
when you attend any prom, dance or party.
To get started reading Brew Maxwell's totally awesome Foley-Mashburn Saga, at
www.crvboy.com

Brew' and you'll see links to the F-M Saga. There are stories by other great writers
at CRVboy's site, including some by CRVboy.
~ See the bottom of this page for .pdf

DeweyWriter hosts great stories by several authors. Dewey's stories are some of
our favorites. Please
click here for an essay by Dewey that reveals some of his
personal history and discusses the importance of being able to express our emotions.
NEW: Dewey's one-chapter short story, "You Are Not Alone"

Do you like science fiction? Then be sure to visit
DaBeagle. There you'll find magical
science fiction and fantasy stories in the Asmodean's Keep section, with characters
who just happen to be gay. There's a lot more at that site, including non-scifi, and
it's all good.

AwesomeDude, the home of AwesomeDude Radio, is a site dedicated to stories by,
for, and/or about gay and bi people of all ages. The site hosts stories and poems by
a number of authors, including some teen authors and some who have only recently
aged out of the teen ranks. In the AwesomeDude Forums, the Writers' Workshop
and Editor's Desk sections are good information sources for young writers.

Codey's World, the home of Codey's stories and poems, is a spinoff from the
AwesomeDude site, where it's listed as a member of The AwesomeDude Family of
Sites. Sixteen-year-old Codey is one of the contributors to our
Authors Speak to
Teens feature. His site hosts and links to stories and poems by some great writers.
Also, you'll find there a .pdf file of the cool "I Danced with Unicorns" poster that is
very impressive when it's enlarged and dry mounted. Just download the file to a CD
or flash drive and take it to a print shop.
November 4, 2007: At 9:15 this morning,
Codey passed away at the age of 17, five years after the auto accident that took his
parents and brothers and left him with ongoing and eventually overwhelming health
problems. We shall always remember our brother-in-spirit Codey, as we appreciate
all that he accomplished through his creative writing and his website, for the benefit
of GLBT teens and folks of all ages. We could not be more proud of anyone than we
are of Codey's partner, 16-year-old Tim, who was at Codey's side, holding his hand,
as Codey's brilliant, inimitable spirit left his impaired body, to fly free. Free to dance
with unicorns, if he chooses.

It's Only Me from Across the Sea is the only site that hosts all of the stories by
teenager "Grasshopper", a friend of The Mail Crew. The site includes important
information on several topics of interest to teens. Grasshopper is a contributor to our
Authors Speak to Teens feature.

Sequoyah's Place is dedicated to stories by Sequoyah, one of the greatest of all
authors of gay-oriented fiction. Sequoyah is not gay, but during his years in the
ministry and in teaching he has counseled many gay teens.

Young writer
Josh Aterovis has an interesting website where his award-winning
mystery novels are available, along with several stories, including "Breaking Masks",
which Josh co-authored with DaBeagle.

The Story Lover's Home is an expanding site that contains stories by The Story
Lover and hosted authors, as well as some music files and galleries. Check it out!

Our good friend Geoff, who lives in Western Australia, suggested that we link to
Stories by Driver. We haven't had time to read all of Driver's stories, but we like
what we've read, and Geoff's recommendation is good enough for us.  Enjoy!

Another friend of The Mail Crew recommended
Gay Authors.org, so we checked it
out. In the Story Archive we can recommend only the stories rated 9.0 or above.  We
definitely recommend the Teens section.

Penguin Huggle is an intriguing site founded by penguin lover Mikie. It includes
stories by various authors and poetry by Mikie. You'll also find photography and
drawings, as well as some simple, engaging games. Member blogs and a forum add
to the bag of goodies. And those cute little penguins are everywhere. Everywhere!

Orbital-One is the creation of Chris, aka Harrod200, a student in the UK. He brings
stories of various styles and some humorous video clips, as well as a hookup to The
Fort Family Reader Discussion Forum.

The Tickie Story Pages is a site that hosts more than two dozen authors. Tickie,
who is the webmaster and one of the authors, updates the site weekly with new
stories and new chapters of serialized works. Have fun there!

The Cove is a quality site that hosts more than twenty authors and a growing
number of stories, including fan fiction. Greybear, who is the webmaster and also
one of the authors, updates the site every week with new chapters, and occasionally
a new author joins the site. The Cove is one of several sites that host a group of
stories known as The Clan Short Universe. Check it out!

alien son is a man, an author, and a website. The man and the author are one and
the same. The website, created by the man, confronts the realities of depression and
suicide and provides links to pertinent information and helpful sites that deal with
those subjects.
Black Dog, created by the author and hosted by the website, is the
story of how Michael, an Australian teen who suffers a major traumatic event, is
affected by and deals with the psychological aftermath of that event. We
recommend the website and the story, and we'll be watching for more stories.

From the Heart is a really strong novel by Codey at Codey's World. We have permission to host
the novel, but we've linked to it, instead. We couldn't match, with our site software, the excellent
layout, colors, and artwork created by good ol' Blue over there at CW. Be prepared for an
emotional trip through this excellent novel, which we consider to be Codey's best work
.
